Our community vision

This future is rooted in ancestral wisdom and extends into a neurodiverse, gender expansive approach to transformation. New Worlds Together is born of the inspired discussion we’d hear at our dream dinner table - with Audre Lorde, adrienne maree brown, Alexis Pauline Gumbs, and mi abuela.

New Worlds Together guides people through the process of

  • untangling internalized scarcity,

  • unlearning coercion as a default mode of communication, and

  • developing relational practices rooted in autonomy, consent, and interdependence (as opposed to enmeshed boundaries).

We share a daily-practice commitment to not simply theorize about these principles but to embody them.

As a neurodivergent person in nonmonogamous relationships, Nicole deeply understands the necessity of clear, aligned communication and the role of sensory and emotional regulation in determining capacity (which directly correlates to relational health).

This is how we break out of mononormative, capitalist molds for relationships and instead tap into our liberatory power: by designing (and iteratively redesigning) relationships that honor each person’s cognitive, emotional, and social needs, by extending our networks beyond the monogamous dyad to embrace our vast interconnections with the land, with each other.

Great, Nick, how do we do that? So glad you asked! We have so many integration exercises to nurture these rich soils of connection—how we build trust, navigate conflict, and tap into our embodied desires together.

Our Community Vision is a practice - about living expansively, about bringing our full selves into relationships in ways that honor both our desires and our interconnections. This organization is an offering and an invitation: to learn, to risk, to trust, and to discover the magic of abolition and nonmonogamy as the ways we sustain the revolution.
